CBSE 10th Result 2020 has been released online. Official website cbseresults.nic.in is not working. Apart from online, CBSE 10th Result 2020 would also be available through SMS and other services. CBSE 10th Result 2020 Pass Percentage

A marginal increase in the pass percentage from 2019 has been recorded for CBSE 10th Result 2020. A total of 91.46 % students have passed the Class 10 examinations this year. The pass percentage for 2019 was 91.19%. The CBSE Class 12 results had shown an improvement of over 5% in the results.

A total of 18,85,885 candidates registered this year for CBSE 10th 2020 examination. Of these, 18,73,015 appeared for the examination and 17,13,121 passed the examination. Trivandrum has recorded the best pass percentage at 99.28% followed by Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Ajmer in that order. Girls have performed better than boys with 93.31% pass percentage as compared to 90.14% for boys. Transgender passing percentage was recorded at 78.95%.

CBSE 10th Result 2020 Passing Criteria

Students would have to score a minimum of 33% marks to be declared pass. For Class 10 students, the best of 5 subjects rule is valid. Students who do not score an aggregate of 33% are given a compartment or Essential Reappear (depending on the number of subjects he/she has failed in. The mark sheet would be released online and can be accessed on DigiLocker.
