Government bus service to Jodamba village of Swabhiman Anchal after 70 years.

Chitrakonda:10/7/20: Chitrakonda MLA on Friday inaugurated the maiden government bus service to Jodamba village of Swabhiman Anchal in Malkangiri district after 70 years.

District Collector Manish Agrawal and Zilla Parishad chairman were present on the occasion. The government bus service from Malkangiri to Jodamba has become a reality for the people of the after the construction of Gurupriya Setu.

The Gurupriya Setu is the Odisha Government’s dream project for the Swabhiman Anchal. After completion of the bridge, places like Janabai and Jodamba got road connectivity.

The people of the region have been spending a waterlogged life for the past 70 years. Their only means of communication was boat. The situation has changed and today they are traveling to their villages on a government bus.
