Odisha Chief Minister urged the people to abide by the norms of COVID-19

Bhubaneswar6/7/20:: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday said that the annual Rath Yatra was conducted successfully due to the blessings of Lord Jagannath. He said the world-famous Rath Yatra at Puri was held this year without the presence of devotees and the sevayats, police, district administration, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration and other departments have played a very important role in the success of Rath Yatra.

The CM said with the blessings of Mahaprabhu we have been successful and set an example before the world. The discipline and restraint of the people of Puri is exemplary and praiseworthy, he added.

He said sacrifice, restraint and discipline are followed by the people of Puri to fight against COVID-19.

The Odisha CM urged the people to abide by the norms of COVID-19 and said we must follow these norms till the vaccine for the dreaded disease is invented.

He said maintaining social distancing, using of masks and sanitizers can only help us to fight the dreaded corona and added that we must take care to save our families particularly the aged and children.
