District administration in Khordha has decided to impose section 144 at and around the Barunei Temple and Ugratara Temple

Khordha:11/6/20: District administration in Khordha has decided to impose section 144 at and around the Barunei Temple and Ugratara Temple to prevent congregation during upcoming Raja festival.

As per the decision, the prohibitory orders under Section 144 will be in force for a week from June 14 to 20 at and around Maa Barunei Temple located on Barunei hill in Khordha area and Maa Ugratara shrine under Tangi Block.

With enforcement of Section 144, people will be prohibited from entering into two Shakti shrines to avoid possible spread of COVID-19 in the district.

Notably, total count of COVID-19 cases in Khordha district is now 307 with 118 active cases and 4 deaths.
