Balasore district reported 11 fresh cases of COVID-19 today taking total count to 190

Balasore:6/6/12: Balasore district reported 11 fresh cases of COVID-19 today taking total count to 190 in the district so far.

The fresh cases are among 173 new COVID-19 cases reported in Odisha today.Of 11 new positive cases, 10 are returnees from Mumbai and one case is a Delhi returnee, informed Balasore district administration today.

The positive cases were reported from different quarantine centres in the district.

Out of 11 quarantine centre cases, two persons infected with COVID-19 are from Kamargadia area in Basta, three from Khunta, 1 from Saradiha in Jaleswar, two from Allalbindha, 1 from Palasia in Bhogarai area, 1 from Andrei in Simulia and 1 from Jagannathpur in Bahanaga area.

With fresh cases, the total number of active cases in the north coastal district now stands at 52. A total number of 137 patients has recovered from COVID-19 in the district so far.
