Bhubaneswar:2/6/20: Government of India has decided for phased reopening Unlock1 from 1st June. Ministry of Home Affairs has issued guidelines in this regard. Based on this declaration, Government of Odisha also announced new guidelines regarding unlock in the State.
Religious Institutions, Cinema Halls, Gymnasiums, Swimming pools, Entertainment Parks, Theatres, Shopping Malls, Auditoriums, Bars will be closed till 30th June. Celebrations, functions, congregations, meetings, sports events, any political and cultural functions are not allowed.
Hotels will be allowed to operate up to 30% capacity.
Restaurant service will open only for in-house guests. Restaurants & Hotels are permitted for home delivery/ takeaways of food. All educational institutions, coaching centers & training institutes will be closed till 31st July.
Keeping in view the detection of higher number of COVID19 positive cases, Government of Odisha has declared shut down on every Saturday and Sunday in 11 districts viz Ganjam, Puri, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jajpur, Balasore, Kendrapada, Nayagarh and Balangir.
All medical establishments including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, medicine stores, movement of Ambulance & all medical personnel are allowed. All shops, business establishments, market places & offices will be closed during shut down.

Electronics Media identified by Commissionerate/District Police will discharge their duty. RS 500 will be fined for not wearing masks for 1st two times and RS 1000 for 3rd time. RS 500 will be fined for spitting in public places. Night curfew will be imposed from 7 PM to 5 AM.
Outdoor movement of persons above 65 years of age, persons with comorbidities, pregnant women, children below the age of 10 years is prohibited, except for essential and health purposes till 31st August 2020.
6th phase training programme on COVID Critical Care has been completed. 249 Doctors & 273 Nurses from 30 districts of Odisha participated in the 45-day training. To ramp up COVID-19 testing capacity in Odisha, COVID-19 testing has started at Balasore & Baripada Medical Colleges.
