Odisha government has issued an advisory for workplaces

Bhubaneswar:28/5/20: As economic activities are gradually resuming in the state with easing of lockdown, the state government has issued an advisory for workplaces to prevent spread of the deadly coronavirus.

“Though the pandemic situation continues, we have to work to save our livelihood. We advise you not to panic. Follow the workplace advisory to prevent COVID-19,” said the Health and Family Welfare Department in a tweet today.

The advisory reads:

  • Wear masks inside office
  • Sanitize your laptop, mobile and other gadgets
  • Avoid closed space and close contacts
  • Seek immediate medical attention if you feel sick
  • Yesterday,  Twin City Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi said easing of lockdown does not mean the corona disappeared, it is still around. He called upon people to cooperate with the Government in the fight against COVID-19 by properly adhering to the guidelines.

Directing police personnel to raise awareness on use of face masks by making public announcements, the CP warned that stricter action will be taken against COVID-19 violators.
