COVID-19 positive tally in Odisha is inching closer to 900

Bhubaneswar:18/5/20: The COVID-19 positive tally in Odisha is inching closer to 900 after the detection of 20 fresh cases in Jagatsinghpur district, which was declared COVID-free district earlier today.

Taking to Twitter, Jagatsinghpur district Collector informed the 20 fresh cases of COVID-19 positive has been detected in the district. Of this, 19 are from Nuagaon, and one from Kujang.

  20 positive cases are found in our district.19 are from Naugaon and one from Kujanga. All are in quarantine centers. Steps are taken to immediately shift them to COVID Hospital.
 He further stated that all the new coronavirus positive cases have been detected from Quarantine Centres and efforts are underway to shift them to COVID Hospital.

Earlier today, five coronavirus patients including a 70-year-old person from Jagatsinghpur district have recovered from the disease.
