In India total number of corona virus cases reached 85,940 which Surpasses China

New Delhi:16/5/20: India reported a total of 53,035 active cases of covid19 as of today, with 103 new deaths, bringing the grim tally to 2,752.

Union health ministry in its latest tally said the country has a total of 85,940 coronavirus cases and 2,752 deaths. The total number of cases includes 53,035 active cases, 30152 cured discharged and one migrated case.

The latest figures released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare shows 3,970 new cases and 103 deaths were reported across India in the last 24 hours. Experts state that while the total number of cases reached 85,940 which Surpasses China, while infection in China is 85,000 as yet, the recovery rate in India is above 35 percent.

During the last twenty-four hours, two thousand 233 patients have recovered and three thousand 970 fresh cases of COVID-19 have been reported taking the total number of cases to 85 thousand 940. A total of 103 deaths have been registered during last 24 hours taking the nationwide toll to two thousand 752.
