COVID-19 positive in Odisha taking the total tally of 169

Bhubaneswar:4/5/20: Six more persons were tested COVID-19 positive in Odisha taking the total tally of positive cases to 169 in the state, informed the Information and Public Relations Department.

As per reports, two positive cases, one a 45-yr-old Male & another a 55-yr-old Male, have been detected in Bhadrak district.

Besides, four more persons were tested COVID-19 positive in Jajpur district. The four positive cases are- 48 yr Male, 55  yr Male 60 yr Male & 62 yr Male.

“All are Kolkata returnees and were in quarantine. Contact tracing & followup action is being done in all the new cases,” the I&PR dept further stated

Earlier today, one COVID-19 patient was detected in Sundargarh district. As per details, the case is a 29-yr-old Female from Nala road in Rourkela. She was in containment zone and neighbour of earlier positive cases.
