Odisha government offices will function in morning hours till June 15

Bhubaneswar:20/4/20: The Odisha government offices will function in morning hours till June 15 as usual like every year, according to the latest notification.

P K Mohapatra, Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Odisha, in a communication to all district Collectors on Monday said all state government offices and Revenue & Executive Magistrate Courts will function up to 15th June, 2020 as usual in every year as per Home Department order.

The order has clarified that the offices and Revenue and Executive Magistrate courts have been working on all days from 7.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. without any lunch break from 10th of April to 15th of June at all places in Odisha except in Cuttack, Puri, Chhatrapur, Berhampur, Koraput, and Bhubaneswar.

The letter said doubts are raised in some quarters regarding the functioning of morning offices during the COVID-19 pandemic period. But, the offices and Executive Magistrate Courts will function up to 15th June 2020 as usual.
