AIIMS Bhubaneswar has decided to provide tele medicine facility

Bhubaneswar:13/4/20: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar has decided to provide telemedicine facility several departments for providing consultation to the patients of the institute.

“At present, 9 mobile tablets have been configured for Whatsapp video calling. The doctors shall provide photo/ scan/ digital copy of a signed prescription or e-Prescription to the patient via Whatsapp. It is advised to prescribe drugs already used by patients on follow up or those drugs which are safe for use,” read a notification by the AIIMS.

Officials said that patients can avail the service between 9 am and 1 pm.
