Two COVID-19 Positive Cases From Sundargarh

Sundargarh:12/4/20: Out of the four coronavirus positive cases detected yesterday, two have been identified from Sundargarh district. This has been informed by the local administration.

As per available information, the duo belongs to Bisra area of the district. This has also been confirmed by the District Collector today.

However, no information regarding the same has been given by the Odisha Health and Family Welfare department.

Though exact details were not divulged by the district administration, it is being stated that the two latest victims of Coronavirus have a travel history and recently returned from New Delhi. However, their connection with the Tablighi Jamaat or anyone associated with it is yet to be established, officials stated.

Meanwhile, administration and officials in charge are trying to trace persons who had come in contact with them.

Earlier, acting on the state government’s directive, the Sundargarh district administration initiated a process to trace persons who recently returned from other states especially from Delhi’s Nizamuddin.
