Number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha rose to 50 as two more persons tested positive

Bhubaneswar:11/4/20: Number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha rose to 50 as two more persons tested positive for the virus today, Health & Family Welfare Department sources said.

A total of 298 samples were tested today at RMRC here, SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and AIIMS-Bhubaneswar, sources added.

On the other hand, as many as 10 COVID-19 patients have recovered and tested negative for the virus, the department said in a tweet today. Five of them are of Bhubaneswar, two of Bhadrak and one each of Cuttack, Jajpur and Puri.

Highest number of cases in the state has been reported from Bhubaneswar so far while multiple places of the city have been sealed and declared as ‘containment zone’ to contain spreading of COVID-19.
