Odisha government so far has sent 256 samples for Covid-19 test

Bhubaneswar: 27/3/20: The Odisha government so far has sent 256 samples for Covid-19 test, informed Subroto Bagchi, spokesperson of Odisha government on COVID-19.

Bagchi said that reports of 189 samples have been obtained while 186 samples were tested negative for the deadly virus, the number of coronavirus affected persons in the state stands at three.

“Health of the first two identified patients is asymptomatic and stable. The last case detected yesterday is having symptoms and is under treatment. All of them are taking normal hospital diet. As many as 100 monitoring teams are working for the purpose across the State, including 10 teams in Bhubaneswar. 4495 persons have been registered through 104 Helpline and portal while 37 persons are in hospital isolation,” added Bagchi.
