Coronavirus positive patient in Bhubaneswar came in contact with 129 persons

Bhubaneswar:16/3/20: A Coronavirus positive patient, who has been kept in the isolation ward of Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar, came in contact with 129 persons, informed Odisha government’s COVID-19 Spokesperson Subroto Bagchi.

Addressing a press meet at the Gota Govinda Sadan here this evening, Bagchi said, Italy returned student has come in contact with 53 persons including family members, relatives, contacts. Also, the doctor and the staff of a private clinic, where the youth had turned up earlier for a check-up, have been kept under observation. Besides, the clinic has also been closed for safety measures.This apart, the patient has also come in contact with 76 persons during his travel to Odisha from New Delhi in train and more details are being ascertained after their identification, Bagchi added.
