Koraput:7/3The Central University of Odisha (CUO) organised a workshop on “Fine Tuning Research Planning” on Saturday at its Sunabeda campus. Prof. I. Ramabrahmam, Vice-Chancellor of the University inaugurated the workshop and delivered the inaugural address.
Eminent resource person Mr. Vishal Gupta, Customer Consultant, South Asia, Elsevier, a world-leading provider of information solutions to enhance the performance of science, health and technology conducted the workshop. Prof. P. Durga Prasad, Visiting professor of Sociology; Prof. Sharat Kumar Palita, Dean, School of Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources and Chairman of the Workshop present on the dais.
The VC highlighted the importance of planning in research work in any University. He said “the quality of research work directly augments and enhances the quality of teaching and learning in any higher educational institution which can benefit the students, the society and the country. A research plan allows finding new knowledge and digs deeper to discover things and learn about new happenings”. He assured the workshop will enhance the research capabilities of the scholars and faculty members of the University to publish many numbers of articles in the International publication by which the author along with University will be visible around the globe.Dr. Jayanta Kumar Nayak extended the Vote of thanks Bijayananda Pradhan, Asst. librarian delivered the welcome address and highlighted the aims and objectives of the workshop.. Visiting Professors, all faculty and research scholars of the University participated in the workshop. The workshop ended with a question-answer session.
