Odisha Chief Minister inaugurated the ICC Women’s Leadership Summit

Bhubaneswar: 15/1/20:Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the ICC Women’s Leadership Summit in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Patnaik said, “I am glad to inaugurate ICC Women’s Leadership Summit here at Bhubaneswar. I understand that Odisha has become the first State in the country to get ICC’s first women’s committee for entrepreneurship development. This committee is a diverse group of women entrepreneurs from various sectors both big and small who can share, collaborate and grow together to fast pace the ongoing industrial growth in the State.”

“We have always been championing the cause of Women Empowerment. We have encouraged women for their socio-economic empowerment with initiatives like Mission Shakti, Start-up Odisha, Skilled-in-Odisha and several other initiatives. Through Make-in-Odisha, we are also encouraging investment in Odisha and translate opportunities into an economic win-win for both the investors and the people of our state. I wish the Women Entrepreneurship Committee all the very best, the Odisha CM concluded.

Among others Director General ICC Dr. Rajiv Singh, Co-Chairman, ICC Odisha Mr. J.B. Pani attended the function. ICC Odisha Chairman Mr. M.C. Thomas welcomed the guests, Convenor IWEC Ms. Sukirti Patnaik spoke on the theme of the Women’s Leadership Summit and Co-Convenor Ms. Chidatmika Khatua offered the vote of thanks.
