E-Commerce Portal of the Directorate of Printing, Stationery & Publication has been inaugurated

Bhubaneswar:2  4/12/19: The  e-Commerce e Portal of the Directorate of Printing, Stationery & Publication, Odisha, Cuttack has been inaugurated by Agriculture Production Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra.

On the occasion, Commerce & Transport Department Principal Secretary IAS G. Srinivas, and Addl. D.G. of Police-cum- Director of Directorate of Printing, Stationery & Publication, Cuttack, IPS Mahendra Pratap explained the benefits of e-Commerce Portal.

As a measure of 5-T charter of the State Government, the Odisha Government Press has taken initiative to transform the present conventional system of sale to online sales by using technology of Government Diary, Calendars and other Government Publications. A new e-Commerce Portal for the purpose i.e. www.ogpress.nic.in is launched today for the benefit of general people.

Government Press generally prints the materials indented by Government Departments however on the occasion of New Year, it prints Government Diaries- 50,000 Nos., different varieties of Calendars-4,40,000 Nos. and also other publications etc. The general public can pay online and get the delivery of the publications anytime and anywhere. This website will make the Government Publications accessible to all the public both in the State and outside the State.

Henceforth, the interested public can avail these publications and take advantage of e-Commerce Portal for online purchase of Diary, Calendars and other Government Publications in time.
