Odisha CM NaveenPattnaik flagged off Jala Sathi programme

Bhubaneswear:20/12/19:Furthering Odisha’s vision to empower women by making them a part of development projects,Odisha CM NaveenPattnaik flagged off JalaSathi programme which will involve 5000 women from MisssionShakti SHGs in piped water supply, cess collection & regular testing of water quality in the state.

A joint initiative of WATCO & Women SHG Federations, #JalaSathi is being implemented in eight wards of Bhubaneswar & will soon cover all ULBs, benefiting 70 lakh people across the state. About 900 million litres of water will be supplied to more than 12 lakh families per day.
