Odisha Chief minister announced 66-acre Ekamrakshetra Yojana

Bhubaneswar:13/12/19:Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik announced 66-acre Ekamrakshetra Yojana for the protection & conservation of glorious heritage of Lingaraj temple, an epitome of Utkal architecture. CM said it is a symbol of faith for lakhs of devotees of Lord Shiva & needs to be preserved for future generations

CM said we have to make sacrifices for the preservation of the 1000-year old shrine. CM appealed,sacrifices should be considered as ‘Seva’ to Lord Lingaraj and sought cooperation from the people of Bhubaneswar for transformation of the iconic heritage of Odisha
