Oral health is often overlooked in Odisha

Bhubaneswar:23/11/19;Inaugurating 54th Indian Orthodontic Conference, Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik said oral health is often overlooked which impacts general health & added that Odisha is planning to launch Oral Hygiene Program with provision of Model Dental Vans. CM added, Odisha has created 437 centers at peripheral hospitals to provide dental care in remote areas.

Speaking about Orthodontics, the CM said that it has a strong psycho-social impact on altering dental aesthetics. CM said that the conference offers an opportunity to foster excellence and learn new skills in the field of dentistry.

CM stressed that healthcare is a top priority & Odisha is in process of formulating Vision 2025 to provide quality & affordable. Health  for  All. Healthcare is also at top of the agenda under 5T & MoSarkar & there is constituent endeavor to improve healthcare delivery & modernize infra.
