Odisha has been awarded with “Most improved big State for cleanliness”

Newdelhi:23/11/19:Odisha has been awarded with “Most improved big State for cleanliness” by a major Media House of the country-The India Today Group.

On behalf of Chef Minister Odisha , Minister Panchayatiraj , Drinking Water , Law , Housing & Urban Development Pratap Jena has received the Award.
The Award was presented by Union Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate  Changes , Prakash Javadekar in India Today State of the States Conclave 2019 held at Kamal Mahal, ITC Maurya, New Delhi on 22 November.
Speaking on the occasion Minister Mr.Jena said that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik , Odisha is on the fast pace of inclusive growth and development.
The State is setting National and Global Benchmarks for others to emulate, said Mr.Jena.
“We are humbled by this recognition , which adds another feather to our cap. We will be further encouraged to strive hard to create a clean, green and beautiful new Odisha”, said Minister Mr.Jena.
