Parichay Foundation presents the 4th Edition of Kiah Fashion Show 2019

Bhubaneswar, 15th November 2019: The fourth edition of Kiah Fashion Show organised by Parichay Foundation at Mayfair Lagoon, Bhubaneswar stood out for more than one reason. The fashion show was organised for a cause to raise funds for Parichay’s flagship programme, Alaknanda scholarship programme for drop-out girl students.

 Honourable guests His Excellency Mr. Willy K Bett, EGH, High Commissioner, Kenya High Commission along with Hon’ble Dr. Swarup R. Mishra (Kiprop Arap Chelulei), MP, Kesses Constituency, Vice Chairperson of Parliamentary Committee on health and former BJD MP  Shri Prasana Patsani joined the event to adhere some glimpse of this cultural extravaganza for a societal cause. Apart from it Ollywood sensational actor Shri Sidhant Mohapatra and Ollywood bulbul actress Smt. Anu Choudhury also walked onto the ramp to encourage the real heroes who have defeated cancer like disease with a positive mind set.

 In an attempt to flourish the ramp floor, Ollywood playback Singer Debashish Mohapatra and Amrita Bharati Panda gave a special performance and enlightened the evening with their musical show.

 Founder of Parichay Foundation Smt. Rosalin Patsani Mishra said, “I want to thank everyone who has helped to make this programme such a big success, particularly those who walked the ramp. This entire event is very close to my heart as through this, we manage to raise funds for the education of drop-out girl students who want to study. We have already adopted and trained two batches of over 60 students and made them appear for their matriculations exams under NIOS and I am happy to share that the results are very encouraging. We want to ensure that these girls complete their education and also get placed in jobs in near future with our help.”

 In a so cause motto, this year fashion show was fully dedicated to the cancer survivors those have fought with cancer with lots of potential zeal and vigour. Cancer fighters Ranjana Agarwal, Swagatika Acharya, Dr. J.M. Rao, Rajeshwari Bhuyan, Bishnu Priya Sahoo, Bhawani Oani, P. K. Tripathy and Bijoylaxmi Kar walked through the ramp to help underprivileged girls in their study continuing and also shared some glimpse of their real life struggle.

 Parichay Foundation is also grateful to all sponsors and partners for supporting the event. Among others IDCO, OMC and Odisha Tourism extended their helping hands for the success of this event. The event was powered by Ruchi and Frozit. Our sponsors for this event were Epari Sadashiv Jewellers, Sj Developers, Gupta Power and Kingston Business Park. Red FM 93.5 was our radio partner while our stylish partner was Head Turners and Estetica was our gift partner. The entire event was managed by Prelude.
