Odisha Government announced ₹ 1000Cr package for SCB Medial College

Bhubaneswar:8/11/19:Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik announced more than ₹ 1000Cr package to transform SCB Medial College into an AIIMS Plus integrated medical institution with 3000 beds. CM affirmed that SCB Hospital is at a pivotal place in Odisha’s vision of providing high quality & affordable healthcare.

CM announced State Government’s objective of bringing in transformative changes to SCB Hospital & Medical College for making it AIIMSPlus and creation of an ecosystem with the best accommodation and facilities for both doctors and students.

It will have all modern amenities to attract medical professionals settled outside to come & serve here. Transformed SCB aims to be among top 3 medical institutions and provide affordable & quality healthcare to patients here, instead of going outside the state for treatment.
