Bhubaneswar:28/9/19; The Odisha Government has signed an MoU with IBM to introduce STEM For Girls in 125 higher secondary schools of Khurda, Ganjam, Cuttack & Sambalpur districts.
The programme aims to improve education-to-work and career pathways for girls in state government-run schools.
The partnership envisions advancing the skills and careers of 20,000 female and 10,000 male students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education.
It includes training in digital literacy, coding & technical skills for empowering girls and encouraging interest in STEM. IBM will advance skills and careers of 20,000 female students in STEM fields and 10,000 boys.
