Advisors to various departments of Odisha government, have decided not to take honorarium

Bhubaneswar:22/9/19: Biju Janta Dal (BJD) leaders, appointed as Advisors to various departments of Odisha government, have decided not to take honorarium from the government for their service.

Expressing their gratitude, the newly appointed advisors wrote a letter to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik stating that they will work without taking any salary or honorarium.

On September 6, the Odisha government had conferred Minister of State (MoS), principal secretary and chief secretary ranks on the newly-appointed advisors to various key departments.

As many as 11 advisors of the BJD were conferred with major ranks in the administration.
