Balakrishna Mohapatra sworn in as State Information Commissioner of Odisha

Bhubaneswar:30/8/19: Balakrishna Mohapatra was on Friday sworn in as State Information Commissioner of Odisha.

Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal administered the oath of office to Mohapatra in an oath-taking ceremony held in Abhishek Hall of Raj Bhavan.


Chief minister  Naveen Patnaik, Information & Public Relations Minister Raghunandan Das and Leader of Opposition in Assembly Pradipta Kumar Naik were present on the occasion.

Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy, Chief Information Commissioner Sunil Kumar Mishra, Chairperson, State Commission for Women Minati Behera, State Information Commissioner Sashiprava Bindhani, Principal Secretary to Governor Madhu Sudan Padhi, former State Information Commissioner Jagadanand, Director, Information and Public Relations Krupasindhu Mishra, Personal Secretary to Governor Himansu Narayan Patnaik, were among others attended the oath-taking ceremony.
