Amazon opens its second largest campus

Hyderabad:21/8/19:The world’s largest online retailer Amazon opened a 10-acre campus in Hyderabad, its world’s second-largest campus outside the United States. Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali and IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan inaugurated the new campus. It is located in the IT hub of Gachibowli, a 10-acre centre that can seat 15,000 employees. Amazon has around 62,000 employees working in the country. It will take care of the backend operations for the company’s global business and technology teams.
