Odisha Agriculture Production Commissioner Gagan Dhal resigned from his post

Bhubaneswar:17/8/19: Odisha Agriculture Production Commissioner Gagan Dhal has reportedly resigned from his post on Friday.

Resignation of Dhal came a day after Odisha government appointed IAS Pradipta Mohapatra as new Agriculture Production Commissioner on Thursday.

Dhal, 1985 batch IAS officer, who is presently serving as Agriculture Production Commissioner is due for retirement in January 2020.

Though the exact reason behind his move was yet to be known, speculations are now rife that the government might give him a bigger responsibility post-retirement in coming days.
