Odisha chief Minister approved five projects worth ₹265Cr under ABHADA scheme

Bhubaneswar:8/8/19:Chairing a high-level meeting on accelerating infra development in Puri town, Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik approved five projects worth ₹265Cr under ABHADA scheme. This includes construction of 1250 vending spaces by developing Municipality Market, Old Jail premises & Jatrika. 5Ts


Two multi-level parking facilities will be developed at the Old Jail premises and Jatrika with space for 400 vehicles at each facility. This will be instrumental in decongesting the traffic inside the city and provide safe & regulated parking services to pilgrims.

Along with Puri District Admin’s office, all other Govt. offices will be brought under one roof to enhance public service delivery. Civic facilities like recreational parks will be developed at previously occupied office building premises after relocation.
