England entered the Final of the ICC CricketWorld Cup

Birmingham:11/7/19:England entered the Final of the ICC CricketWorld Cup. The Hosts beat Australia by 8wickets in the second semifinal at Birmingham.Electing to bat first, Australia were all out for 223 in49 overs. 

Brief Scores:

Australia: 223 all out in 49 overs (Steve Smith 85, Alex Carey 46; Chris Woakes3/20, Adil Rashid 3/54).

England: 226 for two in 32.1 overs (Jason Roy 85, Joe Root 49 not out; PatCummins 1/34).

The hosts will play New Zealand in the final on Sunday.
