Adapa Mandap Darshan Of Deities Starts At Gundicha Temple Today

Puri:6/7/19: The ‘Adapa Mandap Darshan’ of the holy trinity Lord Balabhdadra, Jagannath and Devi Subhadra will be held at Sri Gundicha temple here starting from today post the ‘Adapa Mandap Bije’ ritual which was completed yesterday.

During the ‘Adapa Mandap Darshan’ which would continue till Bahuda Yatra scheduled on July 12 will witness the availability of ‘Adapa Abadha’ at the Sri Gundicha temple. All rituals of the deities which were being performed at Srimandir earlier will be done at Sri Gundicha temple starting from today.

Notably, Lord Jagannath and His siblings were taken into the Sri Gundicha temple in Goti Pahandi by servitors and placed on the ‘Adapa Mandap’, post  entry of Lord Ramkrushna, Madanmohan and Lord Sudarshan.

Devotees in Lakhs thronged the religious town to witness the holy ritual yesterday for which the administration made ample security arrangements. A day before the pulling of chariots were started much ahead of the scheduled time at 2.15 PM and concluded by the evening.
