Larsen and Toubro donated Rs 15 crores as its another contribution to rebuild Odisha

Bhubaneswar:6/6/19: Larsen and Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday donated Rs 15 crores as its another contribution to rebuild Odisha after the devastation caused by extremely severe cyclonic storm FANI in around 14 districts of the State.

Whole-Time Director and L&T’s Board member Shailendra Roy, Mr.Sumit Ganguly, Mr Prosenjit Roy along with HR and Administration officer Aditya Prasad Badu met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat and handed him over the cheque drawn in favour of Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He also wished CM on the historic OdishaElections2019 victory.


Roy also congratulated Patnaik for his landslide victory in Odisha assembly for the fifth term and mentioned about L&T’s contribution towards restoration work after cyclone FANI.

L&T had deputed approximately 500 Engineers, technicians, safety personnels who all worked under CESU, WESCO, WBSEDCL, etc. Besides, it had also deployed many equipment and machineries like DG set, Pole Mounted Cranes, Hydra, JCB, Tractors, Excavators, Tippers, Cranes and water tank during restoration work.
