Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik felicitated 20 winners of Young Astronomer Talent Search

Bhubaneswar:4/6/19:Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik felicitated 20 winners of Young Astronomer Talent Search (YATS) programme for high school students. Organised by Science and Technology, Government of Odisha & Tata Steel, YATS aims to spread awareness about space science and astronomy.

Flagging off their exposure visit to ISRO – Indian Space Research Organisation, CM congratulated the Young Astronomers for their success and urged upon them to work towards making India proud in the field of space research and application.

Ashok Palit has completed his graduation from Upendranath College Soro, Balasore and post graduation from Utkal University in Odia Language and literture.. He has also carved out a niche for himself as a scribe of eminence after joining the profession in 1988. He is also an independent media production professional. He had made solid contribution on cinema in many odia Dailies and weekly such as Samaj, Prajatantra, Dharatri, Samaya, Satabadi, and weekly Samaya.
