Naveen Patnaik along with his ministry is most likely to take the oath of office on May 27

Bhubaneswar:24/5/19: With the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) winning the Assembly elections for the record fifth term, party president Naveen Patnaik along with his ministry is most likely to take the oath of office on May 27.

The Parliamentary Affairs department has begun the preparation for the oath-taking ceremony.

Sources said that 21 ministers along with the Chief Minister will take the oath.

Taking note of the plight of the people of the coastal districts, which were ravaged by the Cyclone Fani, the Chief Minister has directed officials to keep the oath-taking ceremony simple.

However, the venue for the ceremony is yet to be decided. It is usually held at the Raj Bhawan.
