Dutee’s Lesbian Revelationa: deep-rooted conspiracy has been hatched

Bhubaneswar :20/5/19: Family members of ace sprinter Dutee Chand, who has revealed she is in a same-sex relationship, on Sunday alleged that “a deep-rooted conspiracy has been hatched by vested interest groups to grab Dutee’s wealth and money”.

Dutee, who won two silver medals in women’s 100m and 200m at the Asian Games last year and is currently preparing for the World Championships and Tokyo Olympics 2020, had earlier told the private TV channels that “I am in a relationship with her soulmate who is a girl from my native village in Chaka Gopalpur in Jajpur district”.

Saraswati Chand, Dutee’s elder sister, alleged “the revelation made by Dutee that she is having lesbian relationship with a girl has left all of us shell-shocked. We are at loss of words. None of us believe Dutee’s same-sex relationship. We firmly believe that she has fallen prey to conspiracy. We fear threat for her life”.

Akhuji Chand, Dutee’s mother said “For quite some time, Dutee was keeping distance from family. She had begun behaving indifferently. My daughter is being targeted as she has earned name. fame and money”.
