Devendra Fadnavis, Hansraj Ahir pay tributes to martyred security personnel

Mumbai:2/5/19:Maharashtra Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister of State for Home Mr Hansraj Ahir today paid tributes to 15 martyred security personnel at Gadchiroli Police Ground in Maharashtra.

After laying the wreaths, Chief Minister Mr Fadnavis observed a two minutes’ silence to pay tribute to martyrs. The Chief Minister later met the family members and relatives of martyrs, who lost their lives in the incident that took place yesterday.

Fifteen security personnel of Rapid Action Taskforce were killed in an IED blast triggered by Naxals at  Jambhulkheda in Kurkheda taluka of Gadchiroli district. A driver of a Private vehicle was also killed in this blast.
Later the bodies of the martyrs will be taken to their native places for the last rites.
