Naveen Patnaik tries to win the polls by wooing women with several schemes

Bhubaneswar:8/4/19: The ruling Biju Janata Dal [BJD] president Naveen Patnaik is apparently leaving no stone unturned to win the polls by wooing women with several schemes for the benefit of women.

Ahead of the upcoming polls, Patnaik addressing election meetings In Kalahandi and Nuapada districts, wooed the women by announcing that “Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) assistance will be hiked to Rs 10 lakh for women and marriage assistance will be provided for poor girls if his government comes to power”.

“If people votes BJD back to power, the new government will work guarantee up to Rs 5,00 crore under Mission Shakti and Rs 5 lakh loan at zero % interest for Self Help Groups”, he said.

“The new government will make provisions for free education to all the girls from KG to higher education including medical, engineering and all types of educational courses and financial assistance of Rs 25,000 for marriage of poor girls,” he said.
