Former BJD leader Dr Damodar Rout’s wife Snehalata Mahapatra passed away

Bhubaneswar:16/3/19: Senior BJP leader Dr Damodar Rout’s wife Snehalata Mahapatra passed away at a private hospital here this morning. She was 72.

Snehalatha had been undergoing treatment for kidney-related disease at a private hospital here for a few months now.  However, she succumbed to the disease this morning.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP Legislature Party Leader KV Singh Deo and many BJD and opposition party leaders rushed to former Minister and senior BJP leader Dr Damodar Rout’s house and paid last respect to the departed soul of his wife Snehalata Mahapatra, who passed away here this morning.

Chief Minister placed a flower wreath on the body as a mark of his last respect to Snehalata.
