Naveen Patnaik inaugurates projects worth Rs 672.02 crore in Khurda

Khurda:278/2/19: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurates and laid foundation stone for projects worth Rs 672.02 crore in Khurda district and addressed a youth conclave.

While at least 84 projects worth Rs 205 crore were inaugurated, foundation stone was laid for 61 projects worth Rs 466.18 crore. The projects were launched in Balianta, Balipatna, Bhubaneswar, Jatni, Khurda, Tangi, Begunia, Bolgada, Chilika and Banpur blocks of the district.

Patnaik also addressed youths at Biju Yova Vahini (BYV) conclave at Gosala Ground during his visit to the district.

Earlier in the day, Patnaik visited Rayagada and launched several projects worth Rs 1,250 crore in Rayagada district. He also addressed a Mission Shakti Samavesh attended by women SHG members at Kaliguda where he interacted with women and distributed bicycles to 1,500 construction workers, and pensions to 1,189 beneficiaries under the Madhubabu Pension Yojana.
