OMC and OHPC paid dividends to the state government

Bhubaneswar: 22/2/19:The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC)  Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC) paid dividends to the state government on Friday.

Steel and Mines Minister Prafulla Kumar Mallick handed over a cheque of Rs 500 crore for the year 2018-19 to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on behalf of OMC at the state secretariat. Similarly, energy minister Susanta Singh presented a cheque of Rs 18.65 crore to the CM for the year 2017-18.

The CM stated that the funds would be utilised to augment various pro-people development and welfare programmes in the state.
