The prime minister’s integrity can not be questioned: Rajnath Singh

Bhadrak :17/2/19: Taking a dig at Congress President Rahul Gandhi for making “Chowkidwar Chor Hey- watchman is thief” jibe on Prime Minster Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said the derogatory remark of this nature of lowering the dignity of the exalted and revered constitutional post.

Addressing a rally of booth-level BJP workers at Ranital near Bhadrak town, various frivolous and unsubstantiated allegations are being hurled against Prime Minister Narendra Modi with regard to the Rafale fighter plane procurement.

Congress leader (Rahul Gandhi) has crossed all limits of decency. The congress leader is repeatedly saying ‘chowkidar war chor hey’. In democracy, the government comes to power and goes out of powr. The use of derogatory words is uncalled for. The posts of president and prime minister are constitutional posts. All partied should think not to lower the dignity of these posts. But Congress president (Rahul) has paid scant regards to it, he said.

Strongly refuting the allegations being levelled against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Singh iterated chowkidar pure hey (Modi is clean). chowkidar becoming prime minister sure hey (Modi becoming prime minister is certain)

“The prime minister’s integrity can not be questioned. No next generation fighter plane was procured earlier. Modi government has gone ahead with procuring fighter planes to strengthen the air force. Modi has none to share dishonestly earned money. His honesty and integrity is unchallengeable. Whether Modiji has performed or not- needs to be debated. But he is being targeted in distasteful manner”, he said.
