Odisha Government has effected a major reshuffle in Indian Police Service cadre

Bhubaneswar:13/2/19: The Odisha Government has effected a major reshuffle in Indian Police Service (IPS) cadre following which many senior police officers were transferred and assigned to new job profiles.

The list of police officers who are transferred is below:

  1. Sunil Roy (RR-1987), ADGP Director, Intelligence has been posted as Special DG, Intelligence.
  2. Binyanand Jha (RR-1988), ADGP, Attached to Home Department, has been posted as ADGP & Director, Investigation, OHRC.
  3. Sidhartha Mahadu Narvane, (RR-1989) ADGP & Director, Investigation, has been posted as OHRC, ADGP, HRPC.
  4. Mahendra Pratap (RR-1990) ADGP, HRPC has been posted as ADGP-cum-IG of Prison & DCS, Odisha.
  5. Sanjeeb Panda (RR- 1994) Transport Commissioner, Odisha has been posted as ADG, Law & Order.
  6. Amitabh Thakur (RR–1998) IGP, Law & Order has been posted as IGP, SAP, Odisha.
  7. S.Shyni (RR-2001) DIGP, CID CB has been posted as IGP, BPSPA
  8. Himansu Kumar Lal (RR- 2003) DIG, SAP, Odisha has been posted as DIG, SWR, Koraput.
  9. Yatindra Koyal (RR – 2000) IGP, STF has been posted as IG, SR, Berhampur
  10. Ashis Kumar Singh, (RR- 2004) DIG, SR, Berhampur has been posted as DIG, Intelligence (I/c CM’s Security).
  11. Sarthak Sarangi (RR -2007) SP, Puri has been posted as SP, Rourkela.
  12. Umashankar Dash (RR-2008) SP, Rourkela has been posted as SP, Puri.
  13. Sarah Sharma, (RR-2010) SP, BPSPA has been posted as SP, Gajapati.
  14. Anupama James, (RR-2013) SP, Deogarh has been posted as SP, Dhenkanal.
  15. Rahul P.R. (RR – 2013) SP, Rayagada has been posted as SP, CID CB (STF).
  16. Vivekananda Sharma, RR-2014 SP, Nawarangpur-attached to SP Hdqrs., Cuttack has been posted as AIG of Police, Hdqrs., Cuttack.
  17. Padmini Sahoo (RR -2015) SDPO, Panposh has been posted as DCP, Hdqrs.
  18. Rahul Jain (RR -2015) SDPO, Barbil has been posted as SP, Deogarh.
  19. Sarvana Vivek M (RR – 2015) SDPO, Malkangiri has been posted as SP, Rayagada.
  20. Kusalkar Nitin Dugdu (RR- 2015) SDPO, Baliguda has been posted as SP, Nawarangpur.
  21. Pratyush Diwakar (RR- 2015) ASP-cum-ADC to Governor has been posted as SP-cum- ADC to Governor
  22. Madhab Ch. Sahoo, (OPS-I) I/C SP, has been posted as Cuttack RuralAIG (Pers.)
  23. K. Dongayat, (OPS-I)AIG (Pers.) has been posted as I/C SRP, Cuttack.
