Odisha Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik dedicated 38 new AAHAAR Kendras

bhubaneswar:11/2/19:Odisha Government’s AAHAAR initiative to provide affordable meals to the needy in urban areas has received a major boost as Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik dedicated 38 new AAHAAR Kendras. Now covering all 114 ULBs of the state, 157 Kendras will ensure one lakh people are served every day.

Started in April 2015 with 21 centres in five municipalities, AAHAAR has till date served 7.2 crore cooked meals, powered by 65 vehicles and a dedicated workforce of 2,000 personnel. Chief Minister Shri Patnaik launched its web-portal where people will be able to donate and sponsor an #AAHAAR Kendra for a day.
