East Coast Railway has been allocated Rs 7010 crore in the Interim Budget 2019-20

Newdelhi:1/2/19: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has been allocated Rs 7010 crore in the Interim Budget 2019-20 presented in Parliament today by Union Finance Minister Piyush Goyal, official sources said.

This year’s sanction of funds for the ECoR is 13 per cent more than that of last year, sources added. This includes all Budgetary Heads including Projects, Electrifications, Passenger Amenities, Workshops, Track, Staff Amenities, etc.
