Prime Minister Modi and chief minister Patnaik of being funded by industrialists for marketing their image:Rahul Gandhi

Bhubaneswar :25/1/19; Congress President Rahul Gandhi today accused Prime Minister Modi and chief minister Patnaik of being funded by industrialists for marketing their image.

Replying to questions during “Town Hall” progamme organised by State’s leading daily the Samaja, he said “BJP model and BJD model are the same. Gujrat model is basically a simple deal. Biggest industrialists fund the marketing of chief ministers. The CMs hand over the State government to key bureaucrats who run the government”.

The entire cabinet in the centre differ from Modi’s opinion. But they do not have the guts to open their mouths. In fact, central ministers have told me in this regard, he said.

The voice of the people is not included in the conversation. That is different the way Congress functions. The Congress has a lot of differences. It leads to chaotic situation. But the differing opinions and respected and are settled democratically, he said.

Making a dig chief minister Patnaik over freebies to farmers ahead of elections, he said “What the State government has been doing all over these years. It has suddenly woken up to the plight of the farmers as neighbouring Chattishgarh enhanced minimum support price of produce”.
