Biju Janata Dal organised a one-day conclave in Bhubaneswar ‘Selfie With CM’

Bhubaneswar:24/1/19: The newly launched Information Technology (IT) Cell of the Biju Janata Dal organised a one-day conclave in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday, where a unique programme ‘Selfie With CM’ was launched.

Gracing the occasion, Chief Minister and BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik said, “I am delighted to see youths congregate for the IT conclave today. IT is very much required in today’s world. Biju Babu also believed in science & technology. I am also delighted for the establishment of an IT cell of the BJD at all districts of Odisha,” Patnaik added.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister launched the official logo and badge of the party’s IT Wing. He also launched ‘Selfie With CM’—An AR (Augmented Reality) technology-based IOS & Android supported application— through which the party works and the general public could click a selfie with the Chief Minister.

In order to get a selfie with the CM, individuals have to take the photos at the venue mentioned by the IT Wing. The AR app not only features Naveen Patnaik’s photographs but also contains live videos. Persons who click the selfie with CM will be handed over the print within 20 minutes, a press note mentioned.

The Odisha CM also clicked a selfie by using the AR technology and received a print instantly from the BJD IT Cell Chief, Amar Patnaik.

Naveen also launched the ‘Mo Naveen Mo Ghare’ programme. Under this augmented reality platform, the party works will take the general public to every corner of the state.
