BSE cancels OTET exam after question paper leak

Bhubaneswar: 16/1/19:The board of secondary education (BSE) has cancelled the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) following reports of leak of question papers on social media.

Reportedly, the child development and pedagogy went viral on the social media. Some examinees who appeared for the test today in the first sitting from 10 am to 12.30 today also confirmed that the leaked question papers are similar to original.

BSE President Jahan Ara Begum announced the cancellation of the examination after a probe into reports of leakage of question papers.

Jahan termed the incident as unfortunate and said the dates of reexamination will be intimated soon.
