Condolence Meeting held for Union Minister Shri H. N. Ananthkumar

Newdelhi:12/11/18:Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Chemicals & Fertilizers, Shri H. N. Ananthkumar passed away after prolonged illness, in Bengaluru today.

To pay their tribute to the late Minister, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Statistics & Programme Implementation, Shri Vijay Goel and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal presided over the condolence meeting held in Parliament House Building, here today.

Both the Ministers reminisced instances from their long association with Shri Ananthkumar and asked the gathering to take inspiration from his life dedicated to public service. A two-minute silence was observed and floral tributes were offered to the late Minister by all present.

Dignitaries present on the occasion included Secretary General (Rajya Sabha), Shri Desh Deepak Verma, Secretary General (Lok Sabha), Smt. Snehlata Shrivastava, Secretary (Parliamentary Affairs), Shri S.N. Tripathi, along with other senior officers and staff of the Parliament and the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
